Our Central Oregon office is looking for an experienced full-time Residential Construction Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will assist the Project Manager with the day-to-day activities at various residential construction projects. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of hands-on residential construction supervisory experience and a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques. Some of the tasks and responsibilities expected are:
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site
- Manage, schedule and oversee subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans and specifications
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates using our in-house construction management software
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Review schematics, blueprints, and other construction documents
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Implement and enforce proper safety protocols on-site
- Maintain a clean and orderly job site.
- Assist with carpentry or other tasks as needed
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, reliable transportation, a cell phone and basic hand tools. We are looking for a team member that is able to work independently and has the ability to proactively problem solve to keep the projects on schedule.
